One evening, two passions

On June 5, Autohaus Dinnebier Premium-Cars opened its doors for a very special event. In addition to the presentation of the latest models of Jaguar and Land Rover, the vernissage of the art series "Einstein in the realm of monkeys" by Nicoleta Albei-Wigger was celebrated. An evening that combined aesthetics, technology and culture in a unique way.

Since the renovation in 2020, Dinnebier Premium-Cars offers an even more exclusive ambience for the presentation of its luxury vehicles. But on this evening, it wasn't just the cars that caught the eye.

Colorful "monkey paintings" and unique NFTs by Nicoleta Gallery Berlin decorated the showroom and invited intellectual debate.

The unveiling of a new work

"Shock the Monkey"

Nicoleta Albei-Wigger, has created a work that is both visually and intellectually challenging with her series "Einstein in the Realm of the Monkeys".

On this particular evening, she unveiled a new painting titled "Shock the Monkey." In this work, a sixth monkey in a radiant gold suit takes center stage and is surrounded by the five already familiar monkey figures in smaller representation. The sixth monkey in gold embodies the super-figure, which not only sums up the other monkeys in their diversity and complexity, but also surpasses them. This new painting exists both in digital form as an NFT and as a physical painting, and represents a fascinating marriage of traditional and modern art.

It adds another layer of meaning to the series and invites profound discussion about human nature, society and culture.

An evening of encounter

After the official welcome by Uwe Dinnebier, managing partner of the Dinnebier Group, artist Nicoleta Albei-Wigger and Ronald Sedlatzek, AG City board member, the evening continued with networking, finger food and cool drinks. It was a multi-faceted event that broke down the boundaries between art and mobility, inviting guests to explore the depths and contradictions of human nature while admiring the latest achievements of the automotive industry.

In a world where luxury cars and high-end technology often dominate the headlines, the five monkeys from Nicoleta's art series "Einstein in the Realm of the Monkeys" stole the show that night. Though not physically present, they made an unforgettable impression. In their painted and digital forms, they traveled "danger-free" and added an extra layer of meaning and conversation to the evening. Their presence was living proof that art has the power to impress and inspire in any setting, even when placed next to the latest Jaguar and Land Rover models.

The collaboration between Nicoleta Albei-Wigger and 4past2 GmbH extends far beyond the conventional boundaries of a website and online store. At the heart of this innovative project is the fusion of physical and digital art. Nicoleta's handmade artworks are digitally animated and offered as unique NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens). These NFTs not only serve as a certificate of authenticity for the physical artwork, but extend its aesthetic and conceptual dimensions into the digital world. Additionally, QR codes are implemented to allow art lovers to dive deeper into the meaning and context of each work.
